My vision

Being human isn’t always easy.
We move through different stages of life and experience both joy and pain. Success, setbacks, and change are all part of the journey — and my wish is to be a source of support for you along the way.

I’m deeply passionate about mental health, and I believe that no topic is too small or too big to talk about. On the contrary, I want to be there — not only in times of hardship, but also at crossroads and during personal growth.

My hope is that taking care of the soul will become as natural as taking care of the body. You are welcome here whether you want to process trauma, overcome depression, work with anxiety, get rid of phobias — or simply wish to grow as a person.

I am a licensed psychologist with a degree from the University of Oslo, and I have experience from the specialist health services with topics such as trauma, anxiety, and depression. My theoretical approach is broad, with a particular focus on evolutionary psychology, understanding of personality, and the connection between body and mind. As a therapist, I often combine therapy with psychological theory to help you explore and understand your own thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

My approach is integrative, meaning that I combine elements from different evidence-based therapies to ensure that treatment is tailored both to your specific challenges and to you as an individual. The methods I use include cognitive behavioral therapy, exposure therapy, affect integration, narrative therapy, and metacognitive therapy. In addition, I specialize in Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), which provides a solid foundation for working with relational difficulties from a dynamic perspective.

Your goals and motivation are at the center of the treatment, so that therapy feels meaningful and helps you grow. I want the therapy space to be a safe place where you can explore both small and big themes. My aim is to meet you with empathy, understanding, and warmth — and to offer space both for processing what is difficult and for working on personal development and increased quality of life.
